The main objective of the trade union committee is to protect the professional, labor, socio-economic rights and legitimate interests of the members of the enterprise team.
Tasks:
- To achieve an improvement in the welfare and standard of living of trade union members;
- Ensure the protection of the rights of each trade union member to work, advanced training, fair and timely payment of wages;
- To promote health protection, the creation of healthy and safe working conditions, and the training of union members;
- Participate in the development of draft local acts regulating labor and social relations;
- To organize and implement public control over compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus affecting the labor, economic and social rights and legitimate interests of trade union members;
- Strengthen organizational unity, a friendly microclimate in the team, and mutual assistance;
- Organize physical education and health work, recreation and cultural leisure for employees and their children;
- Preserve and enhance the tradition of congratulating union members on their birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and memorable dates;
- Protect the rights of management as union members.
